E-Learning has become an increasingly popular method of training over recent years.  Normally aimed at larger companies and out of reach for SMEs, Safety Media have developed SME E-Learning to provide a cost effective solution for companies with 1-50 employees who do not require a full E-Learning system.

SME E-Learning offers the same benefits as traditional E-Learning, if for example your workforce is spread across different sites, you can provide access to health and safety training using one central training system.  If you struggle to find a convenient time to hold a group training session, you could use SME E-Learning to provide your training.  Simply email your workers asking them to log on and complete their training in an allocated time.  You can choose between Interactive Flash or Health and Safety Video courses on the SME E-Learning system. 

Each course is up-to-date with latest information on the chosen subject, with over 47 courses to choose from including manual handling, fire safety, dse and health and safety induction.  There really is no easier way of training your employees.  At the end of each course, the trainee is asked to complete a risk checklist and a self test. 

Once training is complete the trainer can analyse risk results to see if any of your employees have been highlighted as high risk due to an element of their work.  You can also asses understanding by viewing the test results.
