Investigation begins into workers death

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), along with Cleveland police, are investigating the death of a bricklayer at the Corus steel factory on Teeside.
The cause of 29-year-old Kristian Norris' death is still unclear; however the 29-year-old suffered fatal injuries in the early hours of Saturday morning.
John Scott, northern region secretary of the construction union, said the tragedy highlighted the importance of health and safety in the workplace.
"No matter how good companies believe health and safety levels are there can always be improvements. We must all do more to ensure that there are not similar tragedies in the future."
The police are leading the investigation, while the HSE will be inspecting for any possible breaches of health and safety regulations.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service, 241 people were fatally injured at work between 2006-07.
