Man crushed by skip lorry
July 25, 2008

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the death of a worker at an industrial site in Duckmonton near Chesterfield.
David Vickers was crushed to death when a skip lorry he was unloading overturned and landed on top of him.
Emergency services were called to Adis Scaffolding, on Markham Lane and managed to free the man but could not save his life.
Mr Vickers worked for CP Skips, which has so far refused to comment on the incident.
A spokesman for the police told the Derbyshire Times there will be no criminal investigation but that the Health and Safety Executive will conduct its own inquiries into what happened.
"He was unloading a skip, the lorry went over on to its side and he was crushed. We handed the case over to the Health and Safety Executive. There is no criminal investigation," the representative said.
