Bin cleaning company receives top safety accreditation
May 7, 2008

Shipley based firm, The Bin Washing Company, has received accreditation from SAFEcontractor for its high standard of health and safety.
The scheme, which is designed to help the industry improve its safety record, recognised the work of the cleaning company and awarded it its certification following an examination of its health and safety procedures.
James Ostler, managing director of information service at National Britannia, the company which operates the awards, said the firm's example should be followed by others.
"More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that The Bin Washing Company has done. The firm's high standard has set an example, which hopefully will be followed by other companies," he said.
The accreditation is available to most industries, although it is particularly important to sectors which use contract services.
According to SAFEcontractor, businesses use it as their primary source for selecting a contractor.
