Company wins RoSPA award
A firm from Heckmondwike has been honoured with a special award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its high levels of workplace health and safety.

Consultant Cleaners won ten gold medals from the organisation for occupational safety in the workplace as well as a gold award supplier status from Royal Mail, the Huddersfield Daily Examiner reports.

Sally Evans, health and safety officer for the company, told the newspaper she was very pleased to receive the award which recognises the firm's drive to ensure the wellbeing of its employees.

"We are highly delighted. It's a great result and a true reflection of our dedication and commitment to health and safety," she said.

The prize the firm won was the RoSPA President's Award and Consultant Cleaners is the only cleaning company to be given it.

Formed over 90 years ago RoSPA is a registered charity which aims to promote safety in all walks of life.
