Worker dies at distribution centre
August 4, 2008

The man had just started his shift at Baxter Healthcare when he lost his life, with the circumstances of the case yet to be established, according to the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.
An inquiry has been launched by the local council's environmental health inspectors and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed about the incident.
One of the other drivers contracted to the site by the Best Connection Group told the news provider that the deceased had not been employed at the estate for very long.
"This man was in his 30s or early 40s, and was an agency contractor. He hadn't been working there very long at all, probably only a week. It's really tragic and he'd only just clocked on to his shift. No-one seems to be sure what has happened," the employee said.
Baxter told the newspaper it will cooperate fully with an HSE investigation, should one be launched.
Meanwhile, the authority is to launch an investigation after a young man was killed when a tyre he was inflating exploded at Chilton Airfield in Sudbury recently.
