Working at Height Roadshow hits Kent
A workshop specialising in informing construction companies about health and safety precautions to help reduce the risk of working while elevated is to visit Kent.

The Working at Height Roadshow is due to hold an event in Erith next week and is designed to appeal to firms of any size.

It will contain practical demonstrations, exhibits and a number of talks about issues relating to the topic.

Presentations will be given on low-level falls and roofwork, personal protection and scaffolding.

Chairman of the London and South East Working Well Together Group Andrea Smith says accidents occurring at elevation are the most common cause of construction injuries.

She says: "By attending this event, companies can see practical demonstrations of the latest equipment and find assistance and solutions to a variety of working at height scenarios."

The Health and Safety Executive will be holding the day on September 25th at the National Construction College.

A similar event will be held at Carlisle United Football Club on the September 23rd which will focus on general health and safety in the industry.ADNFCR-1336-ID-18788475-ADNFCR
